Taryn Manning was on Chelsea Lately promoting her band Boomkat’s new album, A Million Trillion Stars.
Apparently she has a clothing line too. Her brother is her band mate and they also live together.
The story of how the album was named is hilarious. She had a dream about Large Marge from Pee-wee’s Big Adventure and Large Marge told her she had to use that name. I love Pee-wee’s Big Adventure.
She admitted that she’s friends with Lynne Spears. Chelsea wondered why and she mentioned she was in Crossroads with Britney Spears. Taryn and Chelsea both had their first role on The Practice, which is quite a coincidence.
Again, Chelsea seemed partially drunk this episode, and again her hair and makeup needed improvement. In some ways I like this hair style, but the problem is it doesn’t flow or make it through the show well. With the makeup, I like the natural look but I think she needs just a touch more color. She looks like all she’s wearing is base. And keep in mind, I know nothing about makeup and have basically never talked about it before. That’s how noticeable it is that it needs to improve.
